Originally from the Bronx, NY and raised in Rock Hill, SC, Karina Barrales was drawn to the beauty industry from an early age. What began as a childhood passion for makeup grew into a thriving teen freelance service, ultimately inspiring her to formalize her talent at the Aveda Institute.
After earning her cosmetology license, Karina completed a rigorous, year-long Associate Program in Lake Wylie, SC, mastering advanced techniques before spending two years building a dedicated clientele on the salon floor. Driven by a vision for independence and an elevated client experience, she took the bold step into salon ownership to found Casa D’ Foils—a welcoming, inclusive space dedicated to top-tier service and personalized care.
